Combining the separator with filter elements in one housing makes it possible to achieve not only a more compact size of the device as a whole, but also significantly extends the service life of the filter elements, due to the fact that the main part of the droplet liquid and mechanical impurities is separated in the separation part of the filter separator. Thus, the operation of the filter elements is carried out in a "gentle" mode, which makes it possible to significantly improve the technical and economic performance of the equipment we produce.

The internal elements of the SGV-7f separator are designed to carry out the process of separating droplet moisture and mechanical impurities from the gas stream. At the same time, the purification of the gas stream from suspended moisture and mechanical impurities occurs in several stages, which have increased separation efficiency characteristics, which make it possible to confidently separate droplet moisture and mechanical impurities from the gas stream even in modes beyond the designed ones. Thus, the vortex filter separator has a stable separation efficiency of 99.99% and a drip moisture removal of 4-6 mg/m3 at a capacity from 10 to 130% of the nominal value. The operating pressure of the separation process has virtually no effect on the efficiency of the separator and can vary over a wide range of separators.

The proposed design of the vortex filter separator can have a storage tank for liquid, either combined with the filter separator housing (most effectively with large diameters of the separator housing), or a separate tank. At the same time, the storage tank of the separator can be equipped with level sensors, visual level monitoring devices, temperature and pressure sensors, pressure gauges and thermometers. The storage tank (combined or separate) can also be equipped with a liquid discharge unit and automatic discharge.

When installing vortex filter separators at gas treatment facilities, a high degree of purification of the gas stream from liquid droplets and mechanical impurities is ensured. At the same time, the quality of gas purification from mechanical impurities is 1 micron, which is due not only to the use of filter elements designed for fine gas filtration, but also to the fact that the vortex filter separator almost completely cleans the gas stream at the first stage of separation from the liquid. It should be understood. That almost all mechanical impurities will be in the liquid. As a result, the second stage of purification, the filtration stage, will receive a small amount of liquid and mechanical impurities. This design and operating scheme of the vortex filter separator ensures high-quality gas purification and a long service life of the filter elements.

The alignment of the internal separation elements, when the filtration stage is installed after the separation stage, ensures not only high-quality gas treatment, but also significantly extends the service life of the filter elements.
The liquid is discharged from the storage tank in the lower part of the separator, from the separation stage and from the upper part of the separator, the filtration stage is carried out via separate discharge lines. This arrangement ensures the hydraulic separation of the internal volumes and prevents the flow of liquid from the lower storage tank to the upper one due to the pressure drop on the filter elements.
Coalescer filter cartridges with a fineness of up to 1 microns are used as filter elements (depending on customer requirements). The average service life of filter cartridges with this arrangement can reach 3 years.
